Would I have to run a torque converter with just the stage 2 eddle Brock supercharger as well everything else is stock or can I get by without one for a year

Since you're running a positive displacement supercharger no need for a torque converter. The only time you really need one is when you run a centrifugal.

Ok thanks yea the guy putting it in said I probably won't need one unless it's makejng more horsepower it is an auto

Save your money and put it other mods. Several guys with the vmp/roush superchargers are running 10's 1/4ers with A6 and stock converter.

To install the supercharger they quoted me 10 hours seems a lil high when everyone is saying it's one of the easiest to install

I contacted Roush themselves and they said the same thing; 10 hour install job.

That's about right. Took us about 8-10 hours, including a break for beer

I think he's talking about the Edelbrock, which should be a little less, because there is no cutting or grinding.

I just installed a Roush phase 1 kit two weeks ago and could not be happier. The install went smoothly and the power gains are insane.
