With any significant increase in power, drivability lies with the driver and their ability to modulate throttle. Whether it's centrifugal or positive displacement, if you romp on the gas pedal, you'll likely lose control (if you don't know what you're doing). If you go easy on it, it's very drivable. Even my grandma could probably drive the car. Just saying, it all lies in throttle modulation. So if you want to go FI, it doesn't really matter what you get, centri or roots. 500-600 hp, is still 500-600hp.

I'd add that power delivery is smoother than a turbo would be. My wife occasionally drives my car and has no trouble with it...her DD is a 2003 Miata - not exactly a powerhouse.

I'm a new Mustang GT convert ( recently had a 2013 SS ) but got stolen and always been a Chevy guy, I still don't know whether I need to leave the "trac" button on or off that is between the hazard and trunk release buttons

There's a lot of guys on here that say they turn it off as soon as they get in the car, which I think is pretty dumb in everyday driving. Personally, I doubt the majority of people on this board have the experience/skill to safely drive a car beyond the high limits that the stability/traction control systems offer. This is especially true if you put your car in Sport mode (double click the TRAC button), which allows even more fun. And, even if you do have that experience/skill, I'm still not sure why you would turn it off unless you're visiting a racetrack, auto-x course or maybe driving some beautiful back country roads where there's little-to-no traffic around.

Here's a couple year old thread that's still relevant to your question: https://themustangsource.com/forums/...5/#post6812377
