Update: Ford has denied the warranty claim. Such crap. There is not a speck of impact damage anywhere on the windshield, let alone along the line of the crack. Way to lose a future repeat buyer.

It's easier to claim if car still has 3year/60,000km warranty, after that is good luck!

Cracked windscreen

My son treated himself to a new mustang in August, he waited nearly a year for it and was very please to have picked it up. However the front windscreen has developed a stress crack, quite big, and went back to Ford and they said that they only cover the windscreen for 1000 miles. This surely is a design fault and they should repair it. What do we do to resolve this issue with Ford. Extremely disappointed with them and the attitude of the staff , showing no concern about a fault on one of their cars. If an6one can advise us what to do it would be appreciated.

Ford didn't deny your claim the Dealer did, contact Ford directly and have them look at it. The 1000 mile thing is BS.

Also if not honored by them most windshields are covered/replaced through most car insurance companies.

How do I contact Deysha? Came out after finishing work and a big crack on my 2017 mustang windshield. Don't see an impact anywhere and can't feel or where it came from. Thank you

Don't know if she is still on these boards or not. These posts are from six to nine years ago. Not as many folks around here as there used to be.

As posted above, Deysha has been over on mustang6gforums since 2015 and hasn't been on TMS ever since!
