Could someone tell me what this is? I'm not going to select it of course . I'm installing the 93 Steeda tune in the morning with the CAI but was curious to what the "STRATEGY tune" is. thanks,Troy

 

The strategy tunes are the preloaded tunes from SCT.

And there may not actually be anything there, my X3 doesn't have any strategy tunes loaded on it.

 

Is there a reason you post a picture of your car in like every post?

The model 3000 has no sct canned tunes and only the downloaded ones. The 3015 has both

 

I have the 3015 and if you choose strategy tune there are none there for my car.

 

Well that's very bizarre. American muscle sold a combo with both models and the 3000 was slightly cheaper because it only comes with bama tunes. Mine 3015 has the canned sct tunes and my bama ones. There are 3 in strategy (sct) tune then 3 in the custom tunes file

 

Because mine is purtier than yourz

IIRC, you JUST picked this thing up, right?

My advice... follow the break-in procedure per the manual before you start tuning.


Maybe you're one of those people who beats the crap out of a car then sells it to the next unsuspecting slob... but for teh sake of teh longevity of the motor you may want to take it easy at least through the first oil change.
