Still order a 2013? 2014 time line?

I hope someone can help me here. I want to order a car and I know the 2014 banks just opened but I don't think they will start to build until january or so. Is that correct?

Also can a guy still order a 2013 NOW and get it in about 8 weeks?

I was going to order a 14 in march but someone really wants to buy my car now and i'm ready for a new one. I was going to buy a truck in between but it seams pointless to drive something for 6 months and need to sell that. The incentives are also decent now and I don't think they will be as aggressive in the spring. I don't care about any new colors on the 14 so if the deal is right and I can still order a 13 I think I will. Can anyone advise?

Thanks

Nope.....order now, and it'll be a '14.

That's not to say there won't be plenty of '13s sat on lots..........that way you won't have to wait at all

Go to your local dealer, tell them the options and color you want and see if they can find it local.
I drove 200 miles to get mine and took a Focus from my dealer to go get it.

As Paul & Ken pointed out, the 2013 order banks are closed (as of several weeks ago), so any Mustang special ordered from the factory now will be a 2014. Lots of 2013's left on dealer lots, and dealers swap inventory with each other so you can get almost exactly what you want pretty easily still.

I am looking to buy a replacemt to my totaled 2013 as described here

I jut talked to a GM at a dealer ship today and they said it'd be a 2013 if I ordered today.

Ill go to the dealer today and have them search. My problem is this is my first NEW car and im really picky about my cars.

I want Sterling with saddle leather, brembo and comfort package. At this point I would take one with charcoal leather but the others are non negotiable. It makes it tough.

As everyone has mentioned, the order banks for the 2013MY have closed, guys. I can help you find your perfect match. Please don’t hesitate to PM me with your options.

I went to my dealer and they found one that was close to what I want but not exact. Im not sure the new sales person i was dealing with knows what Im looking for so a search from you would really help.

Thanks again!
