Update - car is back up and running at 9:05p today. What a relief.
If this happens to you, you need to contact SCT and have them create a recovery file. I had to send them the files from the tuner itself, along with the tuner serial number and (I believe) my processor code. Mike R. from SCT was able to help me today, and very quickly had me a recovery file. You simply load that on the tuner, then flash the car. Once that was done, she was brought back to life, no issues to report.

Curious, is your stock tune still correct?

I guess one thing we can take away from this is that if you are loading a tune for the first time, do it when you won't need the car for some hours, and preferably on a weekday. Glad you got it going, Overboost.

Keep us posted
There are those of us out here looking to get a tune and waiting to see how Steeda resolves this issue. Do let us know what Steeda does and how this ends up for you.....Getting someone on Saturday is a big plus and will be interesting to see what Steeda does with your issue....

As far as I can tell it is.
Definitely. Had I not seen his post on AFM, I'd still have a giant paperweight in the garage.
Good point. In the Mazda tuning world, you don't have to worry about processor codes and tying the VIN/code to the tune. You just download the tune you want from the website and load it to your vehicle. Hell, you could even edit the tune yourself and adjust things like MAF scaling, rev limiter, and set your launch control and no-lift shifting values. The SCT was a bit different than that.
I'm most interested in this as well. I'll be in contact with Gus tomorrow to see what he can find out.

Just spoke with Gus this morning, and made him aware of the issues. Apparently I'm not the only one with my processor code that has had no-start issues. He's sending me a new file to try and I'll report back later with results.
I wanna commend SCT and Steeda on excellent support given the issues. I'm not the least bit upset, although I did utter a few choice words on Friday night.

More than likely I'm going to write up a quick detail on how to obtain a recovery file. I'd also like to get a listing of all the processor codes and keep a list of issues with tunes, which could help everyone out.

I just had the exact same problem as the OP and I was wondering if you ever tried the second file that Steeda sent you.
My issue was with a different tuner but the exact same outcome. Now I have a new file but I'm skeptical about trying it.
