steeda shifter?

I put mine in today. I didnt notice that much difference. What a pain in the *** to get the rubber boot down over the base of the shifter. Does anyone have a trick for doing it fast? I had the shifter in under 25 mins. The boot was a pain. Honestly i think the factory shifter was smoother. Its weird to get it out of reverse. when u pull it back, it stays over to the left side. I thought it would pop into neutral.

That's the thing I want a shifter but it seems like the rubber boots are always a hassle that I've experienced with:/

You sure the boot is on correctly? You have to line it up right or you can get more noise and reverse problems.

I agree, something sounds off. Mine goes back into the neutral position when I pull it out of reverse and is as quiet as stock. It is pretty hard to stretch the rubber boot over the reverse lockout mechanism.
