I would go with the tires on this bad mama jamba! I have been in love with these wheels since i saw the car at the Auto Show. I think these are close to the Steeda Spyder wheel. You would atleast have the approval of 1 person in the room if you were to buy the Spyders!

Those HRE's are more like RTR's, not really anything close to resembling Spyder's.

I love the HREP40s...just don't want to spend almost $6k for them. The Forgestars at $1700 are only a few lbs heavier if this and are a 1/3 of the price.

No street tire is going to be a good track tire. Problem is also that a lot of drivers don't let the tires heat up properly and the tread starts to seperate from the sidewall as there are 2 different compounds and they heat up to temps at different times. So a lot of drivers go out there and end up not heating them up properly and just destroy the tires. As far as the Conti DWs go, no they probably aren't a good track tire, they are a great street tire. They will still allow you to canyon blast and maybe do a DE but not at 10/10s driving. To be honest if you want a good track tire I would get a set of track wheels and go with 18s as then you can get some decent track tires. Such as the Toyo R888s and the like.

Even the mighty Michelin Pilot Super Sports aren't a good track tire. You at best can drive 7-8/10s driving and if you over drive them you will finish them in one track day. Now there is one street tire that a lot of people track with and thats the Nitto NT05, go with a square setup and run 275/35/19s on all 4 corners.

Look what happened to this Michelin Pilot Super Sport that went to the track.. From M3post.com

Went to order the F14s for my E92 M3, bad news..they are out of the 19X11s as they are changing the wheel from having the lug holes casted vs. being drilled out.
