Spot on windshield not getting wiped

Anyone have the same issue? When I use the wipers, there's a windshield spot on the driver side near the center that the wiper misses. yes, I've changed wipers & it still happens. Is it the shape of the glass?

Yep. Happens occasionally and I've never been able to figure it out.

It's partly the shape of the glass, partly the spring in the wiper arm what pushes the arm to the glass, partly the windshield wiper...

I've found that depending on the replacement wiper blade assembly and/or age of the wiper arm, a slight bending towards the glass of the arm is in order to achieve good contact. I've also found that Bosch Icon wiper blades are the best out of all the ones I've tried. I've been swayed by this or that other brand, or even other part from Bosch, but Bosch Icons work best for me. And yes, hadda do the slight arm bend to get them to work right after the years of use of those arms.

For what that's worth, hope it helps.

I like the RainX Latitude Wipers. I have them on my Mustang and Firebird. I find that they work better and last longer than most other brands. I have had those Bosch ones years ago, but I don't remember how they compared.

Huh. I tried those and they wore out fast, streaked like no other, chattered, wouldn't cover... But hey, everyone's got different needs/uses/cars/? so if'n those work for you, then you keep on doin' that, right?

Another vote for Bosch Icons. Fantastic wipers. I’ve tried other brands and was disappointed.

I also use RainX washer fluid and when I clean my windows I reapply RainX treatment to all the windows and headlights.
