I used the provided turnbuckles and attached them to the upper portion of the lower grill... tough to see in the pictures.

The splitter itself has a groove that slips over the OEM lower bumper piece. It has double sided tape (which is actually quite sticky) and that secures it to the OEM bumper piece. Lastly, there are two or three holes which take advantage of the existing lower skid plate fasteners on the left and right sides.

Super easy installation - I do want to upgrade the turnbuckles in the near future. I am going to be putting in a front tow hook (blowfish racing) and the tow hook support has splitter attachment points

I have read that the LS splitter setup supposedly makes ~90 lbs of downforce at 100mph or so. I've searched high and low for data to back this up, but have been fairly unsuccessful in locating the info. It sort of makes sense to me though, as it would only take a ~1/2 psi delta top to bottom of the splitter to create about 90lbs downforce (assuming ~60" wide splitter and 3" depth - I know that's not quite how it works, but rough back of the napkin #'s).

Most of the tracks I drive have corners that are taken at 90+, and more downforce for braking (from 130+) is a good thing with the setup I have.

I also used some weights to load up the splitter with about 60 lbs to see if it would take the forces. It deflected some, but not enough to concern me at all

Since you installed the splitter Can you feel the down force? Does it handle better?

I'm not a good enough driver to feel that relatively small difference. I do some data logging but I don't have any direct back to back data from a single track with and without the splitter.

I know it's there doing something. That something is not lift so it's either doin nothing or adding some downforce.

Lets just say at the same speed I noticed the stock GT feeling a little light, I was able to get about 20-30mph more with the spoilers before I get that same feeling

When I get over 90 mph, I definitely feel the car being pulled down. I have the GT500 rear spoiler also which is contributing.

I had a hell of a time attaching the screws in to the stock splitter holes. I think it may have had something to do with putting it back on after the roush splitter.

Anyways I went to autozone and purchased washers to use with the long screws just to be safe. The holes were almost the same size as the heads for the screws so the washers were mandatory for me. I pushed the stillen one over the oem one and had to force it so the holes would line up. It was a snug fit for sure. I haven't added the turnbuckles yet as I haven't found a good place to mount them to the grille

Unless you reinforce the grille, you're probably going to have to secure it to the bumper.

Attaching to the grill is not the most secure. But I've had no issues with that setup. The tow hook setup with strut attachments is by far the most secure option.

They're attached to the underside of the bumper, just above the lower grill.
