Spare tire trunk cap

Spare tire trunk cap
Hello all!
So about 7 years ago we somehow lost the screw cap that holds the trunk cover down and screws onto the spare tire bolt. I cannot for the life of me find a replacement part so the bolt just sticks up out of the trunk cover. I have tried talking to the dealership here but being in a different country they don't seem to get it or care what I'm talking about.
Anybody know what the part is officially called or have any replacement ideas?

Welcome to the forums!
The part number you want to tell them to get for you is 1F1Z1462A. You can also do a search for this. It's called either a "Vehicle Lifting Jack Nut" or a "Tool Bag Spacer", and probably some other names. But that's the one, get that.
Alternatively, you could put some sort of dense rubber/plastic to shore up the underside of the fake floor, but the problem is it will eventually rub through. The bolt sticking up into the floor will cause a small area pressure point and that means premature wear. This thing above is designed to take the load off the center and distribute it so there's less pressure on the fake floor. I'd not try to swap it out with anything else unless I were to have a 3d printer and make one.
Hope that helps, and good luck!

This part is shared by a lot of Ford Cars, might check your local salvage yard...
But not a speedy part anyway... Shipping might be more than the part.
