Some Time with BAMA
Auto. The hybrid tune combines the street and race tune all in one. You get the low end power like the street tune. Continues with mid power like the performance tune. Then continues with high power from the race tune. Really amazing tune, the hybrid is..
I'll get the CAI first. So my setup will be tune, CAI and flowmaster force 2. Hope I can feel the gain when all is said and done.
How noticeable was the gain to you?
Thanks man. I'm saving my pennies now to get the BAMA tuner... I was curious about which tune to use as a DD. this helps. (Auto also)

Just spent a couple of days with this hybrid tune. 1st it has the same issue that my 91r has with the "pause shift" or bouncing off the rev limiter, 2nd the 2000 to 4000 seems flat also like the 91r. It is only slightly better than the race tune in this all important rpm range. My 91p for my car and setup is best for my driving. Now I only have the K&N drop in so I'm thinking maybe this is not allowing the full impact of this hybrid tune. On certain types of tar my 91p will chirp 2nd gear shift at wot and I know this hybrid would if it did not have the "pause/delay" shift into 2nd. Also with just the tunes and no real mods yet I'm just under 6 seconds to 60 as time with that great app "torque"

My guess is the shift happens just below the redline then during the actual shift the rpms hit into the redline a little therefore hitting the rev limiter giving this hesitation. A simple increase say 7200rpm for the limiter?
At 1.2K on the odometer I changed my oil, installed my airaid cai and 91 perf. tune from Bama. I gotta say my initial impressions are that it didn't really change much. I felt a much bigger change on my '12 V6. I mean throttle response is better but other than that I don't see any difference. I've already put in for the 91 hybrid tune as I think I will like this more. Hopefully it makes more of a change.
