Some Time with BAMA
2011 v6 auto with 2.73s to start with. After driving with the 3 91 tunes, I prefer the performance the best. The race tune might be good for standards but the auto gives up to much under 4,000rpms. The street is the opposite, dies out to quick after 4,000rpms. The performance is the best blend (low rpms & high rpms) for my car. The shifts in the race were harder at wot. Mpgs driving my "to work" route increased 2 to almost 3 mpgs with the 91p. Still have to "flush" the lazy shift memory. The best words to describe the before\after of the Bama tunes is the car is "Eager" to go now as before tune the car "what did you say"

Mines is in the mail now! I had a tune on my '12. When I sold it they wanted the tuner with the car so had to get a new one. I know it def. Makes a difference especially when coupled with a cai. I decided to leave out the 73mm tb this time tho. Thanks Dan for the help!
I've got to be strong or when my other half sees the package come in the mail it's going to be like this in my house:
Me: Sees package on the counter

How much is the forum discount? 6% right? Plus, I'm less than 50 posts, and I want my posts to be legit, so I've been slowly working my way up.

Great deal. How old is it? I bought an unmarried SCT 3015 tuner a few weeks ago. Be Sure to go to SCT's web site and download the PC application tool. Once you get that going (sometimes the drivers are not reconized by your windows OS; SCT help line is great for getting that all fixed), be sure to download all the updates to your SCT. Mine was at OS level 1.7.4; it took about 35 to 40 minutes to get the SCT up to current OS. Highly recommended.
When I bought my used SCT tunner, I asked for a picture of its serial number (on the back of the tuner), plus a picture on its screen that showed it was unmarried and had vehicle connections left on it.
Unmarried, and still has some "vehicle connections" still left on it. Most SCT tuners have 5 vehicle connections. The first owner connects the tuner to their car, it stores their stock tune, and installs a tune of the drivers choice. If the owner restores the stock tune and "unmarries" the tuner to his car (but maintains the same VIN in the tuner), the tuner has 4 connections left. Basically, you can buy a tuner, and use it for up to 5 different vehicles (VIN numbers) before it has to be sent to SCT to be reset, and at a fee of $150.00, or you have to pay this fee if the previous owner did not unmarry it from their car (tuner is still married to the VIN of the previous car).

Looks like it's probably an SF3. I think you can type in the serial number on the SCT website, and it will tell you for sure. As mentioned...make sure you get a look at the screen and that it says unmarried and has unlocks left.
I'm glad to hear you're enjoying your Bama Performance Tune! I agree, the performance tune is a really great middle ground and definitely is a ton of fun to drive on. You may want to give the Bama team a call and ask about our "Hybrid" tune. This is a mixture of all three tunes and definitely delivers! It has the low end grunt of the Street tune, mid range of the performance and top end of the race tune.
