Now I just need to find affordable tires.

I was very happy with the Cooper RS3-S. They just came out with a new UHP tire too. The Nitto 555 G2s are also getting great reviews. Either of those would be about $800 installed for the set.

By the way, your CS center caps are a direct fit, so I'd swap them over if you want your tribar emblem on the grille to match the wheels ;)

Will never buy Pirellis ever again they were shyte! Stuck for 5k and then noisy as heck and the grip dropped off. I'm going to replace mine this coming spring. My fronts failed inspection at 16,500 k. :fuss:

I agree, I do not think that may got much more than 20,000 miles out of the Pirelli P-zeros and that was with regular rotations. I went through a couple of sets replacing two at a time due to some punctures because I didn't want to mismatch the tires. I switched to Bridgestone S04's last spring with much better results.

Im at 24,800 on the OD and the stock Pirellis have about about 45% tread. They wore great with regular rotations but just can't grip on the fly.

I had great grip with the Eagle F-1's on my traded Mustang...but man they were noisy!

It looks like you have the CS which came with different Pirelli's than my car with the Brembo package. The all season Pirelli's on the CS's apparently last longer than the summer only P-Zero's that came on the Brembo equipped cars, but don't deliver on the traction.

You maybe want to sell the regular pony caps? Mine went with my old Centerline wheels. I'd like to have a set on hand for my stock wheels...

I have 20x9s and they wear 255/35/20s and it looks great.

Since op has 19s he can get a 45 sidewall instead, not a huge deal, either that or lower the car like you said and run the smaller sidewall 35s

255/35/20. 20s. Extra inch. You are of old school thinking with regards to sidewalls. I think I learned how to read a tire size when I was like 9-10 years old. After that I never understood the guys that threw around terms like "35 sidewall." Do you know what that means? It literally means nothing without the context of the tread width. It's a percentage of the tread width, so every size will be different. 255/35 is not the same sidewall as 305/35.

Nah I have those. I want the running pony ones without the tribar. The ones that are installed on the wheel in the first post.

I think 255/35/20 is a terrible size, my fiancee has that size Nitto Invo on her 20x9 front Alcoas and we can't wait to replace them.
They're stretched a bit, so the wheel is the widest part (sucks when getting close to a curb), and there's very little sidewall, plus a 255 isn't really that wide if you want that 4,000-lb car to turn properly.

So no, personally I'm not a fan of 255/35/any-rim-size, I think they're short and with a small amount of sidewall, which tends to lead to harsh ride characteristics and a lower-riding car than you might want, or a big fender gap.

I have 275/35/20's on the front of my car (currently these wheels are for sale), and I think they provide much better cornering, ride quality, and a beefier sidewall:

Honestly, these are the sizes I'd probably run on 19x9 and 19x10 rims:
front: 275/40/19 ... 27.66" tall
rear: 305/35/19 ... 24.40" tall
