Deysha told me that I have an ETA of May-17. Finger crossed...It will be a long wait. It's my first Mustang, so I'm not in a club for now.

New and having trouble making similar decision. 2011 GT 500 every option...white with stripe delete......dealer must get rid of it and is selling for 50,500.....should I do it......must decide by tomorrow. Originally I was waiting for 2013 Boss......should I wait....please help.

 

Haven't heard from the OP since he last started this thread. Hope you got your Shelby as per ETA Martin. Get some pics up .

 

Easy enough, ask yourself; do you intend to track the car? and by track I mean on a road course. If so, then the Boss is the smart choice since that is what it was made for. If not then give the GT500 extra consideration since the street is where the GT500 rules. In either case you wont be meeting yourself at every corner (although if thats your thing then the Boss will obviously be less so) .

The only other consideration coms down to how you well mannered you like your car. The Boss by dint of its more balanced configuration will win out here since the GT500 by comparison is a brute. It gets the job done with lots of power and extra sticky tires.

 

Well I went with the Shelby and man I am glad I did.
