They are so cheap I would not even bother to call them premium stereo speakers.

A necessary upgrade IMO. Nice choice. I've got the Kappas in front in my '09 and the JBL Power Series in the back for bass since I didn't want to take away space with a sub. The JVC head unit with 7 band EQ helps too.

I should take a pic of my base GT's "premium" speakers. They look even poorer than your Shakers
