Bought my 3rd mustang...loving it! (pics inside)
Deal was too good to pass up so I traded in my 2007 GT coupe for a new 2012 GT CS convertible.
Out the door price, before trade-in, was 38K with x-plan and incentives!
Mods planned so far:
- Roush axle-back
- Kenwood navigation unit (DNX9980HD)
- Window tint all around
- ???

Thanks guys! Yeah the light bar is probably coming in soon as well. I'll post some more pics/audio clip once I get the axle backs on as well
On a separate note, does anyone have any experience with putting aftermarket HID on the GT? I heard that it's not really worth it and that it's better to just change the bulbs on the stock headlights.
Alternatively, I was also looking at these from americanmuscle, which look fantastic:

Looks great ! Question though ? Why did you not get the electronic package ? In my 08 I had a Kenwood nav system, BT, Ipod, but I will say the Sync system is head and shoulders above any aftermarket system out there !

Oh actually I couldn't order the 2012 models anymore and it was on the lot already. The deal was too good to pass up so I went with it haha
I do wanna install the kenwood navigation system anyway. I had it on my old mustang and it was absolutely flawless. I really enjoyed the garmin navigation too.
I'm not too convinced about sync quite yet...I'm trying to use the same ipod that was working correctly with the kenwood and now every song crackles under ford sync so I think there's some issues with ford sync/ipod compatibility.
I tried to use my iphone 4 (USB) as well but it's a hit or miss. Sometimes song will play flawlessly and some other time it will skip/crackle. Still trying to research on what the actual problem might be.
Do you use your ipod with usb or aux?
