Shaker 500 question

I currently have a 2012 convertible base 3.7 purchase used 2 months ago

i have added fog lamps
i have added pony logos on the fenders
i have added pony wheel covers replacing the ford logo ones
i have just added GT ford door panels with the subwoofers and pony logo on the inserts.

i want to convert the stereo to the shaker 500 system is this all I need - shaker 500 head unit, two shaker amps and the wiring harness? do I also need the shaker radio?

also will any shaker from 06-14 work or just the 11-14?

I love my Shaker 500 system but I wouldn't go through all the trouble your going through trying to make your 'base' model a 'premium' model?

Too many 'better' aftermarket radios, speakers and amps being sold.

Just my opinion

yeah, I would look at an aftermarket unit before deciding on the Shaker; from what I gather, there are many better units available, for less money, than the Shaker
suggest you look on Crutchfield, and check the "audio" sections in this and other Mustang forums
