satin black stripes...please help

Hey guys I need some info how do I clean or wash or wax satin black stripes? I've heard not to wax them because they'll get a hazy white any one have info for me?

The guys from Roush told me to use anything you would normally use on vinyl. Since mine our matte black, I use a product that does not shine much. 303 Aerospace works well. Definitely stay away from any paste/hard wax.

That's weird because my uncle has a 10 roush 540 with the matte black hood panel and roush told him not to put anything on it cause it could stain.

So I'm guessing a rainens wash n wax with he wax bubbles is not a good idea? N what is 303?

Why not add a layer of matte finish clear coat so that way you can do whatever and not be worried bout messin up the stripea?

I installed matt black stipes on my '11 just a month or so ago... Best thing out there is Turtle Wax Ice... works like a champ!

I use Zaino rubber and vinyl dressing probably very similar to the 303 aerospace. I have factory OTT stripes it cleans them up they still look matte and no greasy residue either. I would think you would have to put something on them so they don't get weather beaten and dried out over time.
