Saleen Grille for V6 Car

Hi All,

Crashed my Mustang this morning (the front bumper cover is trashed), and was thinking about doing the GT/CS conversion while the car is being repaired. I know this topic has been beat to death (yes, I did numerous searches and found lots of useful info.), but I am considering the Saleen grille, and am confused as to what is needed to mount it. Looking at pictures of the Saleen grille, it looks like it wraps around headlight to headlight, but does it still require the GT's grille surround (PN AR3Z-8419-AA), and how exactly, does it mount? I would ideally like to just bring the body shop a parts list and see if I can do this within the insurance proceeds.

Thanks!

Rick

You do not need the GT grill surround, it replaces it and the grille
I do believe this is the back of the Saleen Grille.

Thanks for the info and condolences. A guy ran a red light and my evasive action resulted in my Mustang coming to rest nose up at about a 60 degree angle on a snowbank covered guardrail. Ironically, the damaged seemed minimal...until the wrecker pulled it back and the bumper cover got torn off in the process. I don't think any of the sheet metal got damaged, so it could have been much worse, I guess. Of course, the idiot didn't have any insurance...my luck.
