Rusty Rotors/hats

any one painted or dressed up the rotors and rotor hats on their mustang? Mine are a nasty rusty color on the non braking surfaces..

I was thinkIng of doing the same thing. I have some rust color discoloration as well. I did that on my previous car and it looked good.

yeah use some VHT caliper paint and spray those areas silver...makes a world of difference

I used high heat spray paint on my rotors and calipers. Still looking pretty good.

It's on my " to do " list for the winter. Might take care of that rearend as well. It is nasty.

thinking of doing this to mine too, before it gets the rusty color. Black Car/Black Wheels so I was thinking of doing it black instead of silver. What do you guys think?

but getting my mind out of the gutter, i've noticed '11s and '12s at the dealership that are already showing rust on the driveshaft as well, you guys might want to take a peek at your shafts while you're under there. That is, those of you that havent swapped to aluminum ones. I know that'll be one of the first mods I do when I take delivery on my GT

Yeah, I think black it is.

What do you think about the calipers?!? Black as well or go with some contrast and go red?! The factory brakes look a little lame behind the nice wheels right now!
