Unhappy Rough idle/performance after repair. reset required?

I have a 2012 GT. I noticed yesterday that it started to sputter and hesitate a little. Popped the hood and realized the intake housing clamps that hold the air filter in had come apart or been left that way at my last oil change the day before, and the air box lid had shifted off its base. Needless to say that was the problem. I secured immediately but it seems that it still idles rough and hesitates. It seemed to be getting slightly better as I was continuing to drive. Should I clear the memory? and how long should it take to run optimal again? Also anybody know the proper procedure? I see a lot of posts about this but a lot of posts don't give the vehicle year, and I'm sure this procedure changes. Also, any chance of permanent damage? Any help appreciated. Thanks,

Disconnect the battery for 30 minutes so the PCM can relearn the A/F.

There is an idle relearn sequence in your manual as well
