Rough Dang Day!

Yesterday I'm Making the 2 hour drive down to LA for a little business. I hit the grapevine and my AC dies. It just starts blowing warm humid air. Bummer. Coming home at 2:00AM power goes poop and I get a wrench on my dash. The car goes into limp home. I pull into a gas station and take out my sct tuner. At this point, I'm dog tired and I've been awake 24 hours. My mind is not working in any sort of efficient manner.

I check for codes and it says there are no codes (I think it does, I was really tired). I hit clear codes and it drives fine the remaining 30ish miles home. However I get on it pretty hard for a few moments on a back road. While I didn't get a limp home, I did get a flashing engine which went away with a restart.

OBVIOUSLY It goes into Jim Burke Ford Monday AM and I won't be driving any more until then. The only think I can think of is that a week or so ago, I used a K & N filter charger cleaner set up to clean my jlt cai. I am wondering if perhaps I over oiled it and I have excessive oil in my fuel injectors or somewhere in the system.

I think this is a possibility because a few years ago my 2005 had a similar issue a week after my local shop performed the same service. Any theories????

Ultimately I should find out on Monday. EFF, EFF, EFF.

Maybe the throttle body sensor. The Wifey's '10 had close to the same ailments. Took the off ramp into Myrtle Beach, the thing goes into limp mode, and the little yellow engine flashes. I pull over, restart, and off we go in good shape. Next day the same thing. Into the dealership, and replaced the sensor. All was good.

BTW, I know of what you speak. Some days are better than others.
