That is some consolation at least, unless one was trying to qualify for something.

Wild about the temps! I run them also, and I think the hottest temperature I've seen for one was probably in the low 80s. Not sure how I'd do in one at that level, other than sweat and pant a lot! Of course, there is the Badlands trek through the desert for an ulta-hot, ultra-marathon delight

The saddle interior is a perfect combination of saddle and black and charcoal and silver. Have you ever seen "saddle" plastic? If you have, you'd wish you hadn't. High quality saddle carpet might be nice, but not the 99¢ a yard stuff that Ford and most other auto makers use these days.

Job well done, Ford.
Gonna have to give you that one!

As for rules 2 and 3, not so much. Any more than 2 colors in the interior (or exterior) gets a little busy for my liking. Have you seen a Honda/Toyota interior lately? Or VW? Or Lexus?

The third point is certainly debatable, but mauve is a shade of purple.

I have seen a Honda and Toyota interior lately, but they were so boring, I don't remember them. The Honda interior that I do remember was absolutely awful, with some kind of wrap-around dash and digital speedometer. It was a somewhat recent Civic, I think.

VW's are great, apart from the cheap plastic silver trim in the GTI. However, I would not want a VW interior in a Mustang. Audi is famous (and rightly so) for their great interiors, but one thing that is awful about them is their overuse of matching shades of color, though they might be moving away from that. I haven't looked lately. I'm sorry, but I don't want to see yellowy-beige steering wheel matched to a yellowy beige plastic dashboard with yellowy-beige leather seats and yellowy-beige maple trim. It looks like it was designed by Martha Stewart.

Lexus, I'm just not a fan. I suspect they're some bad combination of rosewood and black leather that people with bad taste think looks "rich."
