What about the supercharged one?

seeing that the only supercharged rear drive ones that existed were sold in Australia and not here... it doesn't matter.

Actually wrong kiddo.

That's a Buick Regal.

W-Body.

Front Drive.

if you want to be specific...

it has the 3.8L (231ci) L67 v6 (Gen III roots blower) with a 4T65E Transaxle.

Chassis in the second generation (which you are referring to) was shared with the Olds Cutlass, Pontiac Grand Prix, Chevrolet Impala, Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Buick Regal and Buick Century.

The Cutlass had different Olds specific engines all together, and only the Regal and the Grand Prix were available with the L67 the entire generation. in '04 the Monte Carlo and the Impala were available with the engine..

Rated at 240hp. Later rated at 260 when they switched to gen 2.5 body styles, and the extra power was due to changing to a Gen V blower, and the engine designation was changed to L32 (if I recall correctly) but only in the Grand Prix. The Regal died by then and the Chevy twins got the 5.4L LS4. Eventually the Grand Prix got the V8, and the replacement Buick LaCrosse also got it.

Unfortunately though, they through all this remained front wheel drive, automatic transmission only vehicles.
