Rear defroster

One of the lines in my rear defroster doesn't seem to be working toward the bottom while the other ones do. However, after 15 minutes or so, it starts to do its job. Any idea how to fix this?

The only way it wouldn't work is if there is break in the grid but it wouldn't start working after a time.

Tint film on the glass?

Maybe damaged when it was tinted.

Yup, got the tint. Probably damaged during the install. Oh well.

I had some mfg defects in mine on about 3 lines that wouldn't defrost, It had beed tinted over but it was obvious that the lines were thinner in some spots and the dealer replaced the glass and covered the re-install of the tint for my 2010. That is how mine acted, the thin lines word work "later" then the good lines that were thicker or almost not at all if it was really cold.

Oh that's great info. I think mine are the same way, thinner at some parts and that's why it doesn't really work. I wonder if I could get the same done to mine. Hmm.
