2011 rebates after 1/3/11?

I'm new to the forum, and i have ordered my 2011 gt in early November. I have no idea what my delivery date is going to be, but i was told it would be in mid January some time because of the 2 week christmas shut down. Any insight on what rebates typically do in the month of January. I am concerned that i might loose out on the $1000 plus $500 for one of my memberships. Any insight would help, especially from the forum's Ford employee's. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums here at TMS! I've worked at the same Ford dealership for 11 years and watch incentives daily for changes as part of my job duties. I will go out on a limb here and say that the $1,000 rebate will continue past Jan 3rd, as will the various $500 membership rebates (i.e. college, police, military, AQHA, etc.). It is incredibly rare for incentives to get worse during a model year.

So, tell us more about your GT! Colors, options, intended use, etc....

I ordered the 11 GT Premium, 6 speed manual, Black with 401a (black leath & cashmere stripe) 3.73 axle, brembo's, GT option 5 (hood scoop, ped spoiler, window louvers, side louvers and deck lid cover) , security pkg with HID lamps. after it arrives, i'm gonna have lemans stripes custom made to match the cashmere seat stripes, put a dark stainless billet grill on with the front lower fascia with fog lamps, and tint the window's to 5%.

the confirmation i got from police association says the program ends 1/3/11. will i have to have them send me another one if they decide to renew the program?
And do you know if i can combine the incentive that's offered from ford with 750 coupon from brochure and 500 iupo discount?

thanks.

Oh, and type of use will be summer fun. primary summer car as long as the temperature stays above 42 degrees (and winter car when the sun is out and it's above 42 degrees). gotta maximize the use when the weather is good.

Your car is gonna look great.

The $500 IUPA rebate and the $750 brochure rebate are not compatible with each other. However, either of them can be combined with the $1,000 factory rebate. The $500 IUPA rebate is good through 1/3/11, but that offer will likely get extended (we won't know for sure until a couple days before it expires). The $750 brochure rebate is good until the date on your coupon.

Brian, just FYI..

At my request, my salesperson enquired about "protecting" my $750 brochure coupon with his GSM, which has a printed expiration of 12/25/2010. We ordered a 2011 V6 Premium that is currently scheduled to be built the week of 1/3/2010. The response I got was "Ok my gsm just got off the line w the ford zone rep. he said yes to the coupon I have everything I need to confirm and extend the deadline for it so you will be able to use it."

I had previously requested an additional brochure under my son's name, who lives with us. That brochure arrived today with another $750 coupon, just in case.

SoFL05GT, get it writing from the GSM that they'll honor the $750 coupon. We recently honored one of these for a customer who special ordered an '11 GT and took delivery after the expiration date. We honored it, but Ford charged us back, so we ate it.

On a happy note, Ford increased the rebate on new 2011 Mustang V6 & GT models from $1,000 up to $1,500 now here in the NW. Also lowered the special finance rates available on new 2011 Mustangs!

Very weird thing i just checked out. I checked my home zip code (we have 5 different zip codes in the city of Niagara Falls in NY) and it is not showing the $1500 incentive. The other 4 zip codes in Niagara Falls show the $1500 total, but my zip is the only one not showing the increase. Regionally, everyone shows the increase but me. A glitch in the system? maybe. Ford finding a way to play mind games with me? more likely. Oh well, i guess i will just have to sell my house and move 5 blocks over so i will be in the right zip code to save the extra 500bucks.

14301 is my zip code
14304 is 5 blocks away

Ok, disregard my last. I won't have to move. They just updated the rebates, and are now showing the rebate available for my zip.

Our 2011 is only scheduled for build week 1/3/2011, so I hope the current incentives at least remain the same after 1/3. It was ordered on 10/26 and I was told the delay in scheduling its build is due to some quality hold issue. Its a Grabber Blue V6 Premium MCA, 6-Speed Auto, Security Pkg, 3.31 Axle, HID Headlamps and Comfort Pkg, so I can't imagine what part or component that the quality hold is about.

I don't know why your MCA is held up. I have 3 MCA's currently on order. One just got submitted to the plant to build, one is currently being built, and one was just released from the plant and is being shipped. So, as far as I can see here, the MCA's are coming w/o delays. And none of the options you listed are currently in low supply according to this week's commodity restrictions.

Thanks Brian! I was hoping you would reply. Ford Customer Service has assigned a manager to assist, and that manager has spoken the dealer's GSM about my concern about the $750 Private Cash coupon expiring, which they assure has been "protected". And it's the CS manager that mentioned a quality hold caused the delay, which I don't understand, when similar orders are being built.

Hey Brian...I just googled 2011 mustang incentives to see what the latest news is and this thread came up. I saw you were logged in, so I thought I would ping you to see if you knew what the latest word is on incentives. I tried the Ford website, but didn't see anything when I searched (it was 1500 until yesterday).

I have a 2011 GT Premium on order and expect it to come in the last week of Jan...so my fingers are crossed there is a good incentive or rebate then!

Thanks in advance for any info.

My ETA is 1/9/2011, so I was curious about what the incentives would change to as well. I called Ford CS directly and was told they will remain exactly what they were as of yesterday for the 2011 Mustang. The expiration date was extended to 1/3/2012.
