Random chunk of tire fell off...wtf!!
So I get out of my car today and I notice a big chunk of my tire fell off!!! It's about 1/2" in diameter and 1/4" thick. I have never seen this happen before in my life...
Has anyone experiences anything similar to this?

That looks more like it was sliced off....maybe something on the road you did not see. I have seen tires in my days selling them that had the same look and it was a slice for sure. Your concern would be how thin the side wall is in that area......
