RAMP 51
RAMP 51
So where is this famous RAMP 51....
All this talk about it and can't find anyhing on the net.
I decided to go into CIA mode and do some areal reconnaissance.
And this is what I found.

You will see Rail and CarCarrier docks stations.
Not to mention the hundreds of Stangs strewn about.
This is where it all begins.
Zoom in on the parking lots directly North and South of the big white building in the middle.
Well a RAMP something anyway.
51 is gotta be in there somewhere.
Too bad they're not marked.
mystery solved....mystery....

I placed the addresses in my post so that anyone that wanted a better view could type them into Google Earth or Google Maps.
I am not sure what Mustang VPC is, but I will give it my best guess.
Mustang Vehicle Processing Center
If anyone knows for sure, please post the correct answer.

From what I have read, the GT500 stripes are applied in a separate room or building in the Flat Rock AAI plant.
Maybe someone who has been on the plant tour can confirm the location of the building where the stripes are applied?

VPC stands for Vehicle Personalization Center. If you get an ascessory package (bigger spoiler, side scoops, etc.) or over-the-top stripes, the car goes through the VPC. These are not installed on the normal production line.
I ask because the window sticker lists the address of Mustang VPC as:
22400 Vreeland Rd
Woodhaven, MI
After doing some research, it appears that Mustang VPC is located at the Woodhaven facility across the road from AAI. Can anyone point out the VPC building?
