So, if you HAVE scratches... Will installing a cover make them less noticeable?

I've seen a few screen protectors online for the Kindle for about $ 6.00. They will definitely be big enough. Ghost Armor is $18.00 for the Kindle.

Just an FYI, the stuff by Zagg has an orangepeel texture, it's not perfectly smooth. Ghost Armor that I put on my Droid X has a smoother finish.
I have not had the time to open up the Zagg box yet, so you're saying it has an orange peel texture. That's not good. If it does, i'll definately bring it back and get the other stuff. Thx for the vids Adam.

My radio screen was not too bad. I had read this and other threads about how delicate it is, so when I had my car detailed recently, I gave specific instructions that "The radio display is not to be touched." This was evidently interpreted as "Please use ScotchBrite!" Grrr! But on a positive note, I've got a lead on a real detailer to use next time.

Yesterday evening, I put on a Wrapsol iPad screen protector after watching the YT video in this thread. It was super easy. It is still within the 24 hour drying period as of this post, so it hasn't cleared up completely yet. It's already possible to see how much the screen protector reduces the appearance of the scratches.

And while I had my gearshift **** off, I did this other mod that's been on my mind for a while.
