Race Ramps!

I just picked up a pair and will be using these this weekend for an AB install. These are very light in weight while being obscenely strong. Here are the specs:

· Ideal for low ground clearance vehicles with tires up to 12" wide.

· Incline of only 10.75 degrees,

· 8" lift

· 3,000 pounds capacity per set while weighing only 10 pounds per ramp.

· Will not slide across a garage floor, dig into an asphalt driveway, or scratch or otherwise damage a cement or painted floor. They can be used on grass, dirt, or almost any other flat surface, and they will never rust.

· Race Ramps car ramps come complete with straps for easy carrying and storage.

I was looking into getting these....but thought about the 62" ones that have a 10" lift to them.

10" would be ideal. Mine only go to 6" and it's **** near useless if you want to access the middle of the car.

Sweet! Have you found that you can do most of your maintenance and mods with these? Anything you can't do aside from dropping a motor/tranny?

I've got an all-metal similar set from Griot's Garage that I use, but when I have to do bigger stuff, I go here: http://www.diyautorepairkc.com/. I hope more of these types of places pop up all over the country because working on a car that's on a lift is sooooooo nice.
