I was reading an article about the recent rise in new Mustang orders. The comment was "the excitement around the launch of the S550 is giving a lift to Mustang sales."
Seems to me if sales of the S197 are going up at the end of production- especially now that the S550 has been revealed- its because many are opting for the S197 styling!

That is exactly why I ordered. Combine the styling with the potential savings (S550 price increase, S197 promos and dealers wanting to get rid of their allotments of the old one) of $12k+, and it was a no brainer for me. I couldn't be more excited, it was actually the first S197 that got me interested in Mustangs. Before then I actively HATED mustangs. Go figure.

I am. I put my order in last Saturday for a sterling gray premium GT vert. Got the order number and waiting for the VIN so it feels more real.
