There is a larger hold then just Brembo, I cant discuss it here. Early cars are not shipping for a little while.

Not months.
The problem is resonably serious, but identified, and corrected for future cars. Now the affected cars must be identified and dealt with.
cars that were order as stock units are affected.

I know all the details but I can NOT discuss it on a public forum such as this.
No Problem Stinger, thanks!
I just got off with Customer Service... They told me my Shleby is in the Body Shop being painted right now. Not sure if I got in before or after the issue was identified... Either way, it will not have the problem when I start it up and leave Jeff!

A lot of this stuff dealers never hear about unless they actively call and inquire. Guys like Jeff and Brian do, cause they are car guys... Most salesmen (rightfully so) have your sale and need to move on to the next to put money in their pocket/food on the table. So, every last update and detail, while they will get it when you ask, aren't going to spend potential deal making time. I don't blame them on this... Ford should send the updates, even though they will need to be vague (for the same reasons Stinger and Overboost are hush hush). I can see Ford not sharing the information these guys know with the general dealers. It would get out from someone. And it most likely something that isn't worthy of major (negative) publicity, but if leaked to the press would surely go that way in this current market. The press would probably call Ford the new toyota, for an issue they found on a car that hasn't been released yet, and will surely be resolved before the car is... /soapbox

you dont need to worry about anything. Thats why they held the cars to start with and EVERY car will be 100% before it leaves AAI.
Every new model of every car ever has had issues. Its just a matter of what point of QC they get caught. And we probably never even hear of 99% of them.

I think that's the whole point of non-disclosure. If he said its a motor problem, even if it was something small, then you'd tell your friends. Then Camaro5 would find out and blow it out proportion. Soon enough MotorTrend would be running an article about all the motor problems on the new 5.0.

Jeff, call me when I can get my car. I'll just be sitting under my desk here with my trusty flashlight and my bottled water. And my helmet. Sucking my thumb.
