My fuel light came on just below 1/4 tank. I've have never seen that on any other vehicle. Is this normal? Thanks

 

It's normal depending on how much you drive and your fuel consumption it will light up sooner or later. It's all measured by the cars CPU. So if your doing a lot of city driving it will be more premature then if you were doing a lot of highway driving.

 

Ditto. It comes on when the ECU thinks you have 50 miles range left. This is calculated based on your average fuel economy the ECU calculates + a safety margin.

 

Yeah I drive normal minus the few boosts when out on the back roads and mine will come on just below where yours it at.

 

I hate when that happens

 

While watching Ford how to videos, i ran across something. It said when you set "My Key" one of the several things it does is displays "Low Fuel sooner than normal". Maybe your 'My Key' is set? Just something else to check
