Personalized Boss Intake Manifold
I just wanted to share how I personalized my Boss intake manifold.
A few years back I started calling what I do with cars "Money Pit Racing" or MPR, since I always seem to be dumping money into them. It kinda evolved into a joke between my friends about how we all dump money into our cars. I recently had some stickers made after I drew up a logo. The logo has an M a P and an R all in one, with the words Money Pit Racing under it.
This is the sticker on my daily driver (sorry for the poor quality)
This is the black one I put on the quarter window of my Mustang, it is very very subtle but I like it, it however does NOT photograph well.
And here is what I did to the Boss intake, I was not thrilled with the "Ford Racing" sticker they gave you to put on, although it did look good I wanted something personal. This is what I had made
It is a laser engraved brushed stainless steel tag. I am very happy with how it turned out.

The company who made it adhesive backed it for me. It is also a snug fit into the intake so I had to tap it down in there.

Yes!! Do it!! That was most of the reason for posting this, so others could use the idea and personalize it themselves!
I had the company who makes tags for the place I work make this, so I think the price may have been less since we buy tons of tags from them all the time.
I got two adhesive backed tags for 33 bucks.

And thanks!
I always wanted to do a custom tag on mine, but didn't keep it long enough.
