Just please remember if you go with race stars you will be the
stock of the town if you dont have the power to back it up 
. That Bullitt Is TigerHonaker over at IMBOC.com and it has the *** to back up the wheels...almost 500rwhp and over 20g in mods

In case you haven't figured it out yet, there's always somebody with more money to burn than you! What's that got to do with the price of cheese?
Doesn't mean you have to pizz away 20k to enjoy your ride the way YOU want to just because somebody else does.

I don't see how that matters.. Alot of folks just like how they look.. Sure they might look out of place on a V6 but not on a V8. Stock or modified.

Nothing wrong with old school meat. I have the stock 15x8" wheels on my corvette with 255/60's and they look awesome. The biggest gripe I have with old school wheels is that it is tough to find a good street / road track tire in that size. Cooper / Mickey Thompson have probably the best tread pattern, but they are still only T rated (118 mph).

I like the polished 18's from the Pony Pkg and optional on the GT Premium more than the regular 18's. Big factor to consider is how smooth are the roads in your area. 35-40 series sidewalls can be pretty harsh over lousy pavement.

The 18'' rims are pretty large in person. When I was building my GT before I got it, I always wanted 19'' rims because the 18's looked to small in photos, but in reality they're fairly large. I would think 20's would start to look stupid, 19's are ok.

The default tire size on the stock 18's are 235/50's. Could I use those tires with the Bullitt wheels, even though the Bullitt's recommended tire size is 255/45's?

It also could be that the Track Pack Rear Springs on the 2011 are actually a touch shorter although they were not advertised as such. I have noticed the Brembo cars seem to have a larger air gap. I dont know if its an optical illusion caused by squarer tire shape, different springs (they have a different part number) or the removal of the spare and jack that causes it. I dont think its the shorter sidewalls as I didnt notice the same effect on the 19" All-Seasons.
PS the 19's may be the same overall height but they are nearly an inch wider (255 vs 235).
