pedal height

I was reading were some people are adding spacers to the throttle cable to raise their gas pedal. to make them almost same height as brake pedal. anybody try this

It doesn't have a throttle cable, it's electronic.

People did and still do, do this. On 2004 and older cars . Might still be able to space out the gas pedal on the newer DBW cars though? (Drive by wire) I just did my 03 with a bunch of zip ties stacked together, did my 00 with a plastic spacers from OSH.

it would be nice if there was a easy way of getting a little height on the gas pedal.
