Alright, so I have a question about the fleet package released for the 2011 Ford Mustang.

I plan on ordering the 401A RapidSpec, and I'm also getting an automatic transmission (it's my preference, I like them, I'd appreciate no insults), and I know the fleet Mustangs have a leather-wrapped automatic shift handle.

Is it going to be possible to order that piece separately and install it, and most importantly, will it look good with a Dark Charcoal 401A RapidSpec package with a Cashmere stripe? (My exterior will be Race Red, but y'all know that.)

I'm hoping so, because I think that'd add a touch of class to having an automatic transmission, since I imagine not many people would have a leather-wrapped automatic shift handle.

 

Um, I'm pretty sure the GT Premium with automatic, already comes with the leather wrapped shifter. That's the point of the ornamentation package for the Deluxe. To give it a little bit of the Premium's class.

Haha no worries. I think I sounded kinda like a douche so sorry. I just sat in a 2010 V6 Premium last night and it had the leather wrapped shifter. The dealer left it unlocked and it was my first time sitting in Saddle and I love it even more now.

And the shifter has the white/cream stitching that matches the seat and E-brake handle...
