Kind of wondered who between us was going to get theirs 1st ... I guess you WIN !!
I'm still waiting for MY call, but seeing yours has arrived gives me hope that maybe I'll really see mine by the end of the week. I'll be calling my dealership tomorrow morning to get an up-date !!

https://themustangsource.com/attachm...1&d=1273660981 My V-6 came in yesterday. It rides very smooth and quiet. The H.I.D.'s really light up the highway. My dealer gave me an extra $1,250 off the price for a couple of rebates. Nice solid car....

I bought it from a Ford dealer in Knoxville. Its around 14 miles from where i live. I asked my car salesman why my Mustang seems like it was built sooner than it should have been built. He told me it might be because they won some kind of award (President award?) from Ford, plus they are one of the largest Ford dealers in my area. Sometimes they may have around 200 Mustangs, they only have 40 or so now. Mine was the first and only Mustang 2011 they have sold so far. The dealers name is Lance Cunningham Ford.
I don't know how my car got to Greensburg, IN 'Gate A', but that's where my Mustang got loaded on the truck for the 484.20 mile trip to my dealer in Knoxville Tennessee. My car salesman gave me a copy of the paperwork but it doesn't say how it got to Greensburg.
The brakes are so good on my Mustang. Pedal feel is perfect. I still can't get over how quiet the interior is and the ride quality.

Thanks everyone.
I only have 50 miles on it so far. I haven't got on it yet LOL!!! The 3.31 gears feel normal, the way the car should feel. Around 1,800 r.p.m. at 60 m.p.h. The 4 cylinder car i traded in did 2,150 r.p.m. at 60 m.p.h. I'm glad i ordered the 3.31 rear gear.

Only 50 miles? I plan to put that on the way home from the dealer... that's 5 miles away.

I figured it had to be a large volume dealer you went thru ... you ordered your car about a MONTH after I did and it was built 2 days before mine !!
Reason I asked is I noticed there is a smaller Ford dealership in your home town, maybe even smaller than my dealership (Maritime Ford in Manitowoc, WI), and had a hard time believing they had that much clout !! More than likely there are a lot more Mustangs heading south than over by me, so this probably helped you.
However mine s/b taking a train into Chicago to get unloaded into a holding lot there, which I'd think a good percentage of cars do this. Once there, it should get re-loaded on a transoprt truck headed up the eastern side of Wisconsin once the've got a truckload worth of cars heading this way.

Hey David -- don't forget to let us know how you're doing on gas mileage!
Yes I know that is not the #1 priority for this car, otherwise you would have bought a Prius, but we're curious how it does in the real world, with the 18" wheels and the 3.31 gears.
Hope your having fun with it!
(and I'd suggest you leave all the parts on for now )
