Ordered my 2011 V-6 Premium.
I ordered my V-6 Premium Red Candy Metallic with Tinted Clearcoat, Dark charcoal interior with an automatic transmission, Mustang on March 17th. I ordered every option except the Glass Roof. Pony package, remote start, rear spoiler reverse video camera, comfort package, security package, electronics package, active anti-theft, 3.31 limited slip rear end, HID headlights. I think that's all. They are giving me a little over $500 more for my trade-in than what Kelly blue book has my trade-in valued at. Plus i get to use my 'X' plan for being a Disabled Veteran. I'm getting the Mustang for around $3,000 less than what i had estimated. I'm really happy. I'm 56 years old and have bought a lot of new cars but this is the first car in my life i have ever ordered from the factory. This will be my 5th 'new' Mustang since 1976. I'll add more things to this Thread as they happen.

Thank you all. I'm very happy. This is my first Mustang since 1986. The children ard grown and gone and out on their own. My wife is gone too LOL!!! I feel, now is the time for me to get back into a Mustang.
They are several different ways to qualify for the 'X' plan. Being a 'service connected' disabled Veteran is one of them.
My Dad got in his new 10 Red Candy Taurus Limited a couple months ago. His car is going to be called 'Big Red' and my Mustang is going to called 'Little Red' LOL!!!

All you have to do is go to DAV website and search for vehicle purchase. It will ask for your member number and then send you to the Ford Partner site. You enter the code and request your X plan pin. Simple as that and you will save without having to "haggle". My 2011 GT stickers at 37k plus and the X plan is just under 35k. Good luck...
Congrats fellow V6'er ... you made a great choice, to get EXACTLY what you want AND a good PRICE an order out is the only way to buy a new car IMO.
I've ordered out every new Ford I've bought since 1994 ...
1994 Mustang Coupe V6 5-Speed, Bright Blue CC Metallic & Black Cloth Interior ... $16,475.00 MSRP /
$15.965.50 out-the-door.
PEP 243A, Front Floor Mats, Pwr Drvr Seat Credit, Rear Window Def, Mach 460, & Bodyside Mouldings.
Ordered 4/30/94, delivered 7/7/94 (10 wks)
1996 Windstar GL 3.8L V6, Pacific Green Clearcoat Metallic CC & Mocha Cloth Interior ... $23,600.00 MSRP /
$20,341.66 out-the-door.
PEP 472A, Int Conv Group, Floor Mats, Trailer Towing Pkg, Premium Stereo, 25 Gal Fuel Tank, Tip Slide Drivers Seat, Privacy Glass, & Remote Entry.
Orderd 7/18/96, delivered 9/20/96 (9 wks)
1998 Mustang Coupe V6 5-Speed, Chrome Yellow CC & Black Cloth interior ... $17,910.00 MSRP /
$15,642.27 out-the-door.
V6 Sports App. Grp w/ Black Stripes, Convienience Grp, and Mach 460.
Ordered 2/21/98, delivered 4/30/98 (9.5 wks)
2004 Mustang Coupe V6 5-Speed, Comp Orange CC & Dk Charcoal Cloth interior ... $20,045.00 MSRP /
$16,957.72 out-the-door.
120A Premium (no other options)
Ordered 1/28/04, delivered 3/10/04 (6 wks)
The '94 & '96 were probably 1 of 1 cars due to the option content, not normal dealer ordered combo's.
The '98 I know of a few identically equipped, but I added FMS SVO GT-40 Fender Flares so it may be a 1 of 1 now.
The '04 being a no option base Premium there have got to be a few of those out there too.
I do miss the build-it-your-way days ... near impossible with the limited option combos these days to build a 1 of 1 2011 Ford or other brand for that matter !!

The 'X' Plan saves you a lot of money. Things like 'Processing Fee' would have been $599.95, but with the 'X' Plan, it was $75.00. I had to put down $1,000 so if i back out they get to keep it but it is shown to go toward the total purchase price of the Mustang on the paper work i have. As far as i can tell i ordered every option there is except i didn't order the glass roof. Minus the $1,000 for ordering and the $8,000 i got for my trade-in, with all taxes and processing fees (registration fees, etc.) , my out the door price i have to pay is $25,196.60. I think i got a pretty good deal. Before i ordered i guessed a price that was around $3,000 more than what i am actually getting my Mustang for. I'm happy about this but going crazy waiting LOL!!!

While placing my order i asked the guy about the spare tire. He told me all the computer is showing is a "tire inflation kit". He looked and told me there isn't even an option offered to pay extra for a spare tire. I think this is strange for a V-6 (18 inch wheels) with the standard brakes to 'not' have a spare tire.
Well, I've seen stories of people who have ordered their cars and already have a VIN # and build date. If I remember correctly, this order got a priority code as if it was a stock order, not a retail order. I think I've heard Ford has not begun pulling retail orders for GTs (don't know about the 6-bangers).

Instead of starting a new Thread i'll just keep up-dating this one i started on March 18th.
I haven't heard anything until today......I got my V.I.N. number today. As far as i can tell, my V-6 is scheduled to be built the week of April 12, 2010. That's next week!!! I can't wait!!! It looks like everything is going smooth so far.

I'm not sure but after my Dad's Taurus was built, it got delivered to the dealer in three weeks. He ordered his Taurus from the same dealer i ordered my Mustang from. I'll be 'very happy' to have it in around 4 or 5 weeks.

You know "someone" in the aftermarket is working on it.
