Sticker says 16/24 with a straight drive, I do mostly short distance city driving with 3.73 gears and get about 16-18 depending on traffic and how I drive.

I drove 380-miles from NC to Arlington Va, in my 10' with the 5sp 3.31 rear,, and I averaged 27-mpg with the AC on, the outside temp was 98' all the way and I averaged 68-mph, I filled up with 14.1 gallons ...

This is my first time driving in real city traffic,, I've driven 120-miles around the DC area, some on the highway,, most in stop n' go traffic n' these people have traffic lights it seems like every 100-feet around here ... I've burned over half a tank ... I'm figuring that's about 12-mpg ...

Man I feel dumb I didn't wait a little longer, for the boss and jumping the gun to get my 2011. But CANT IMAGINE how u feel with your 10.

Guess I shouldn't feel too bad, just put a couple a grand into my 11 and it can take on the boss

Honestly, I love to mod and customize my car into something that I built and make it unique. If I were to get a Boss I wouldn't want to change anything on it and what's the fun in that!

The whole Waynes World reference was where I was at when the 2011s came out, and I gelt like I just HAD to take action. Now I see that I've jumped the gun.

However, it's all good - my 2011GT absolutely rocks! (And it comes with a No-Hurl Guarantee!)

That's a very good point and it's why I was desperate for the Boss to be perfect (to me) out of the box. It's close. Probably closer than any new Mustang to date, but for me the Boss still suffers from a slight 4x4 stance......and I'm not keen on the wheels and a couple of the colouring details. However, the Boss nameplate is sacred and it would seem wrong to want to mess with it.

Now I know it'd relatively easy to reproduce the look of a Boss (see Blazeone's car for proof) but it'd be a bit more difficult to make it go and handle like a Boss. But I'm sure the 5.0 GT has all the performance I'll ever need.

Ford should bring back the whole super cheap big preformance car thing they were trying with the mid 90's. I want them to spend the money on the go fast instead. I bet as a result of putting the money into the drive train they car will be lighter simply because they didnt have the money to put towards plastic interior bits and fake scoops.
