Thanks for putting this together enator. Looking at the %'s, I believe the Mustang numbers are off for some months. Is the % supposed to be the year-over-year change for a given month? If so, June 09 and 10 don't add up, sales increased but the number is neg.

EDIT: It looks like you've got the Mustang and Camaro %'s swapped on the graph for May, June, and July.

Hopefully the Camaro has run its course, thats not to say I dont want to see the car sell - hell brisk sales of both cars have been nothing but good for the Mustang and Camaro, but I really wanna tell my Camaro buddies "neener... neener... neener... I told'ya so Just pent up demand, Mustang FTW!".

That and I look forward to the 'tards on C5 coming up with interesting exsuses to down right insulting people.

 

 

I see a lot of Camaro's, on the street, and now on the dealers lots. The people who are died in the wool Camaro addicts have bought their's and the flash may be wearing a little thin for everyone else. And, I am not sure GM has any incentives on the Camaro.

I have yet to see a Camaro Club of America or a Camaro cruise or a Camaro Show....are there such things in other parts of the country. Seems there is always a Mustang show or Rally somewhere.

 

Guilty as charged but smacktard is an entirely appropriate label for some of the posters there. The one shinning example that stands out in my mind is (paraphrasing here since I didn't bookmark the thread) "I'd be scared to park my new Camaro next to a Mustang, because Mustangers are all jerks and will scratch your new car because they are jealous".

Frankly, thats hate mongering and something I really dont see on other boards. I expect the usual "that car is ugly", or "my car is better", Mustang is a women's car (wait a sec, my car has 120 more HP, one of those super "dangerous" live axles, and doesnt have "launch control" ) and Mustangers dont know how to race a car - still haven't figured that one out, when there still isn't a Nation Camaro Racing Association that I know of?

So there you have it, my opinon of that board overall is pretty low and I am in no way apologetic about it.
