Now the "real" wait beings

Do you have any mods in mind?

You will never be disappointed with exhaust! I have a box of brand new Borla S-Types waiting for my car. On all my cars exhaust was the first mod I had done (except my 61 beetle, that was all original).

Thanks man, you too. My dealer had a DIB GT Track in stock for about a week. It was a beautiful car, I'm just not a blue guy.
I was also contemplating a 2013 Shelby. Had the price not jumped, it would have been tempting. I'm with you though, trying to think down the road for the next house - have about 5 years to prepare for that, and didn't want a bad decision now to make things more difficult then. And for the money, what we're getting in a car is pretty phenomenal. The Shelby's a great value too, but ours may be even better.
It would be pretty fat wouldn't it?
Granted. But it's not a GT500. I'm willing to support an obese payment (not quite so fat, considering I saved specifically for this) for that engine, that suspension, that machine. You only live once.

Thats True. If you can comfortably afford it, you are one lucky guy. At this point in my life, the GT is a smarter choice... I'm only 28. I was VERY close to getting a shelby. A few signatures away, but they changed the deal on me. I'm not so bummed out about it now. Once things (upcoming wedding) settle and my income grows more I can think GT500 again. For now I must be happy with the GT hehe. A House is more important right now. And as has been stated, the track pack GT is one hell of a car and I am confident it will whip most cars out there.
Just comparatively speaking, I decided to save the extra money. It was a tough decision though. I imagine I'll have one at some point - assuming they don't go down in displacement and to turbo like where the M3 is probably headed.
Enjoy your GT500 - it may be the last of its kind.
Just got my update from Deysha. Thanks again. So now my wait begins. Build date of 4/14, tentative delivery to dealer on 4/19 (turns out there actually is some benefit to living in the Detroit area).

Me first, me first.
Just got the Deysha update.
The Wifey's car is also scheduled to be built by 16 April with an ETA of 22 April to my dealer in North Carolina. Of course that's if nothing changes. Here's hoping for all..........
The Wifey's car: She did the specs all by her little self.
GT Premium Vert. Red Candy w/Stone Interior
Auto
Comfort Group
Reverse Sensing
Rear View Camera (everything that makes backing up easier for her)
Deysha, you rock.
