Are you kidding? I had a Ford tech tell me that replacing the stock v6 bumper with a GT bumper could cause serious engine damage via the air box inhaling too much O2. Lol

He was serious too. Poor thing. I wanted to pat his head and say "there there."

 

You should have, and then if it turned out that it will cause it to run lean (ha) then you can just never go back.

 

He was just silly. I've heard plenty. I called Saleen inc. to ask if they could sell me replacement white face gauges for my 00 that were dirty and discolored with age.

Long story short: the guy told me he could not because they are discontinued and they only had current production vehicle parts only. Ok cool.

Well... I ended up telling them that I would just keep an eye out on eBay. The guy proceeds to tell me that its "illegal for anyone to sell them except Saleen and they could go to prison.

Advised me that I should call him back immediately with the eBay sellers username!! Haha
