Nice Pics...Stupid Article...
but i built the exact same car that cost 23,500 on the Ford site as an '11 model and it's 28,990.. better off with a 4.6L for that much more $
I don't care how you slice it, $30,000 for a Ford Mustang with a 6 cyl is crazy money. And the V-8 prices are nuts as well. Not that long ago, the top dog GT500 was $45,000. You're close to that now with a GT loaded up. We're not talking 10 or 12 years here, we're talking 5. Yes its a better car in every way but holy moly, $30,000+ for a V-6 Mustang!?
I guess I won't be getting a new one anytime soon. It just is what it is.

I don't understand the dissatisfaction with the price. $30 grand is semi fairly loaded at MSRP, not invoice. Prices are easily attained in the mid to low 20's with
the premium or a few options.. after adding dealer cost plus a percentage... similar to VW GTI/WRX prices or lower.
I think the mustang will hold it's value as it's quality is up and the tech goodies are great if not better than average.
I want to test drive it first however, as the reviews said the steering was almost too light and the quirky front shocks made it seem floaty.. those are a concern of mine.
I wonder if the shocks can be exchanged with the GT.
