New to us 2014 3.7L, what muffler?

You can have my GT take-offs if interested. They are brand new... No miles on them. Just pay shipping. PM me if interested...though it may not be worth it as they are quite heavy...

8 months ago I would agree with that statement. But alas, I must disagree . You don't get what you pay for. Don't need to get into details but just search for me and borla if you want to know

I know you had a bad time with fitment Burton but not everyone has. my vote is for Borla S-Types which I have or GT500s. If you go the Roush route I think you would have to add shorty headers to help make it sound throatier/great. They sound good just not great imo. Here is a clip of mines. Mind you I have pretty much a full exhaust except I keep the stock cats/resonators but most of the sound is from the S-types.

AJ, yeah I didn't have the best of experiences . Fitment issues were secondary, quality (rust through) was first. Couple other folks I know also got rust through and fitment issues. Rare, but still... Hopefully no more issues in the future for who gets it. I loved them for when they were on my car.

Hi everyone,
We just bought our first 'stang ('14 3.7L) and I'd like it sound a little throatier and a littler louder than stock (without sounding like a ricer). I'd like to keep it as affordable as possible, so I've been thinking about ordering a pair of flowmaster 10 series mufflers. Is that all I would need, just the muffler? Would it void any of the warranty? Does anyone know where to order a pair that will work on the 2014? I can't seem to find any for our year. Thanks for any help!

Yea that's right almost forgot you had the rust issues too but there is always the warranty which I have used and great customer service. I do love the tips of the Corsa you have just not the tone so much. I like a deep throaty tone and the Corsa seem more high pitched. Not bad just not my taste. I would be interested in knowing how they sound on the 3.7. I gotta say, shorty headers make just about any exhaust on the six sound better (deeper).

I hope you meant GT500. GT mufflers on a V6 would be an absolute waste of time. And if the V6 has a manual transmission, I'd say the GT500 mufflers would be a waste of time too, since they sound almost identical; the V6 MT has 3.5" tips and GT500 has 4". That's the main difference.

Because? I don't know, ask Ford. It's been that way since 2011. Actually, the 05-09 GTs had different mufflers for auto and manual too. Most likely different tuning internally to tune drone out at different rpm levels. Also, the MT tips are 3.5" slash cut and the AT tips are 3" slash with an extra baffle inside the tip (you can see the pipe inside).
