Could this be the '10 Shelby that we are seeing? That may explain the hood.

The 2010 is said to have a cowl (think steeda) like hood

The camo is generic would have those flaps in the front if it were a V6 or Shelby

Looking better, the hips are there, front is more aggressive with a shark like '67 - '68 front end (similar to the car on the cover of this month's 5.0 Mustang) - the headlight buckets seem to be angled like the GT500 which is a beautiful thing. Mirrors are an improvement but still need work. Reserving judgement on the rear, need to see the un-camo'd rear to form a final opinion on the tail lights.

from what I can see, still not liking the tail lights or the possibility of chrome surrounds in the integrated headlight/turn signal unit.

Maybe this is a Twin Force mule? If it is, is it the 3.7 V6 or 5.0L V8 version? Could explain the larger exhaust tips and different mufflers. Less backpressure for the turbo.

ok since I see a hint of what Ive been told Ill go ahead and say it....the 2010 is suppose to also have the front fenders flared up a bit raised over the lines of the hood just like the Mustangs of the 60s; this would give the 2010 a much more aggressive look. It also appears as though the fenders are shorter bringing those headlights further back from the front of the car again more like the 60s Mustangs.

Ive also been told that the hood does indeed have a buldge. The front grill is to be set further back into the front fascia and have a more aggressive rake to it similar to the Agent 47 front grill but a little bit steeper. The interior has been given a severe update and has a more wrap around feel more like the corvette.

The key statement I was told was that the 2010 makes the current Mustang look "dated" so I got real excited when I heard that.

Another thing I notice in the rear shot of these pics is that the third brake light does look kind of high, could be a ducktail with a light integrated in or it could just be the camo making it look deceptive....lol.

Well...that's what we all want to hear, isn't it?

Nah, I don't think the '05-'08 will look dated as it's such a classic looking car. The '10 will look different and some will prefer it's more modern take, but that takes nothing away from the current car.

My favourite year of Mustang is the '69, but I still love all the others that went before it.

Well, that's me just trying to convince myself I'll not want the new car

From these shots and the previous white one, it seems like the front end will look very similar to the current GT-500. I find this a bit disappointing, I was hoping the current GT-500 would retain some styling uniqueness, especially since the front is the only major body difference...

I guess time will tell....

Camaro

Slightly off-topic, but GM have announced that the Camaro will now complete testing without any camo. Offiicially this is to enable the aerodynamics/airflow to be tested properly. That sounds plausable, but the cynic in me tells me this is to get the public excited about the Camaro again (or at least the Camaro they can buy)........and the timing comes right after the second lot of Mustang spyshots hit the internet. I reckon GM are trying to ensure Ford don't steal their thunder. Maybe the Mustang will be with us sooner than we think?

Anyway, here's the first official Camaro photo. I love all Mustangs, but that is one good looking muscle car from GM

Everyone it seems is trying to determine what is under the camoflauge. The most obvious change is right in front of everyone or should I say behind everyone, the antenna has moved from the front fender to the rear quarterpanel.

Which to me, sucks. Yes it may look better than being on the front fender(having it on the qtr. panel still seems a little weird). However, now if you want to "shave" the antenna, you have to paint the qtr. panel and not just a fender.

I'd say antenna placement is the least of my concerns....
