New RTR's mounted from AM question

I just received my RTR's mounted on some Generals from American Muscle. After getting them on the car I heard a loud high pitch howling noise coming from one of the combos. Has anyone experienced this? Do you think its a balance issue?

Thanks

Great choice, I love the RTR's! I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're having. The sounds very odd, I'd like to get you in direct contact with a CS supervisor. Shoot me a PM with your order number and I'll make sure you're taken care of!

Hear it with the windows up? Probably just noisy *** tires. My RTR/Falkens have a lot of road noise. Check the reviews on your tires and see what people say. If not hopefully AM can help

It's the tires. The factory Pirellis on my car have 25,000 miles and they make it sound like a 4x4 truck. The noise keeps getting worse. It also does not help that the cabin of this fastback bodystyle is shaped like an amphitheater on the inside. I never had a car make so much noise. I am going to have to try to find some smoother tread tires. It seems any aggressive tread patterns are going to be very noisy.

Yea I hear it mostly with the windows up...probably is because of the aggressive tread pattern. The reviews I read before getting them said that they were as quiet or quieter than the Pirelli's....lol guess not. Going to today to make sure its not something else.

Are they General AS-03 Tires? They are noisy F***S. I have em w/ RTRs also.

After they wear in their performance in the dry isn't bad though.
