So I recently went back to a Mustang I haven't had one since my last one back in 2006 which was a 93 LX 5.0, but recently bought a 12 GT 6SP. It is optioned with the Brembos and 3.73 gears but the rear diff was swapped to 2.72 at some point without adjusting the tune. Not a huge deal as I am having the rear end rebuilt due to noise so it's getting done right with 3.73's. my question is the rear brakes don't say Brembo and I am wondering if this means stock brakes were swapped on as well, but I keep reading that some people say they don't match from the factory. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The rear are not Brembo nor do the say Brembo on them, the same Calipers are used on every S197 from the V6 to the Shelby.

Thank you for the quick response. This is good information to know, also the differential housings are the same from what I can tell so I should be good once I have it rebuilt. I am considering replacing the carrier with a Torsion unit.
