New owner of 2013 Red Candy GT -Intro with pictures! :)
Hey all,
New 5.0 owner reporting for duty! Just picked up a 2013 Red Candy GT a month ago but haven't gotten around to posting on the forums till now. Having just graduated from school and started work I thought I'd reward myself with a new car. It sure was a big jump from the 91 Mitsubishi 3000GT to a muscle car but I'm lovin' it!
My old car:
Like its predecessor, the Mustang will also see autocross action. I'll be running it in the SCCA F-Stock class for the next year or so. It's going to be a frugal build; so far I have a set of Koni Yellows installed and some dirt cheap R-comp scrubs mounted on the OEM wheels. I'm probably stopping at some Ford crash bolts for more camber and will see about how necessary a front bar is going to be.
I got a set of the AMR 18x9s in Charcoal from American Muscle and I'll be running my OEM tires on those as daily driving wheels for a good while. Anyways, on to the pictures!
Stock off the dealership lot. I have a soft spot for B&W shots.
Some quick shots after installing the new wheels
Cheers!

Welcome........... I'm not much on red cars but that Candy really looks good and the wheels set it off. What's that sign on your fuel door?

Yes it does lol . Just something I grabbed from work, I think people who see it will appreciate the irony. It works both ways regardless of how a "race" actually turns out hehehe.

That's one great looking Mustang, and it looks so much better on the new wheels. Congratulations, and welcome to TMS.
That was a nice Mitsubishi, too. I came from a (Z32) Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo. Great car, but the Mustang walks all over it in terms of character.

Howard, congratulations! Candy red was a great choice. I wish you the best of luck with her. I'm sure you won't have any problems with this brand new Stang though.
Charcoal AMR wheels really give a mean look too. Enjoy the 5.0!
